Getting to know each other
We know that that going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Bromley Town Church a great one!
SERVICE TIMES
Bromley Town Church meets together every Sunday at 10am and live streamed on Youtube. We also have other meetings during the week, such as small groups and prayer meetings.
What can i expect at a bromley town church service
A typical service is about 90 minutes long. Upon arrival you should be greeted by someone from our Welcome team, who can show to your seats. The environment is casual and relaxed, sometimes quite lively with music and people moving around.
The service includes worship songs, song lyrics are projected onto the screens at the front of the room so you can sing along and engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. People are welcome to stand or sit during the worship songs. After our sung worship, one of our pastors will come out to share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus.
Here is an example of our Sunday service schedule:
9:55 - Pre service video begins
10:00 – Service begins - Welcome
10:05 – Worship with music
10:40 – Notices
10:50 – 2 minutes (optional) to greet one another
10:52 – Sermon talk
11:25 – Ending song - and offering collected
11:30- Service ends & Tea/Coffee served at the back of the hall. Prayer is available at the front of the church - look out for our Prayer Team wearing lanyards.
Timings are approximate and may vary slightly week to week. We have communion once a month as part of the service and we have baptismal services throughout the year.
WHAT ABOUT CHILDREN?
We believe that children and young people should have an awesome time at church every single week. We provide engaging and faith-filled activities covering from 0- 18, split into age appropriate groups:
- Bromley Kids Foundations (under 5s)
- Bromley Kids (Reception – Year 6)
- Bromley Youth (Year 7- 13 & college age)
Safety is a priority and so we have a detailed registration process for our Bromley Kids and Foundations for the first time that you visit (this won't be the case on future visits!). You may want to leave yourself a little extra time to get signed in on your first visit - you can find out more by clicking below.
